- Mixed Practice Large Animal Technician Cuero Vet Clinic needs your help! Seeking an experienced large animal technician. Large animal experience and/or associates or BS degree in Animal Science preferred. We are open Monday-Friday from 7:30am -5:30pm. Rotating technician on call duties required. Essential functions of the position listed below: -Receive, handle and treat large animal patients of all sizes, majority cattle and horses -Accurately perform laboratory tests -Accurately dispense and safely administer medications -Efficiency in computer and data input -Strong communication and client service skills -Ability to perform physical activities, some resulting in lifting 50+ pounds Cuero Veterinary Clinic is located about 100 miles from Austin and 85 miles from San Antonio. Cuero is close to great hunting and fishing destinations along the Gulf Coast. The small, but bustling town of Cuero, is rich in tradition, legacy, and integrity.
